Nodar Mindiashvili

Nodar Shalvas dze Mindiashvili (born February 2, 1957, Tbilisi) is a Georgian biologist, Doctor of Biology, scientist, inventor, entrepreneur, and television presenter. His primary fields of research and professional activity include biotechnology, the food industry, medicine, agriculture, and the development of plant and animal biostimulants and ecological preparations.

Nodar Mindiashvili was born on February 2, 1957, in Tbilisi.

In 1983, he graduated from the Moscow University for the Humanities. Later, he pursued postgraduate studies at the Scientific Research Institute of Agricultural Radiology and Ecology in Tbilisi, completing the program in 2008. In 2009, at Telavi Iakob Gogebashvili State University, he defended his doctoral dissertation in the field of "Conservation of Living Nature" on the topic "Effects of Resource-Saving Impact on Biological Objects," subsequently being awarded the academic degree of Doctor of Biology. 

He began his professional career in 1983 as a senior specialist at the Main Archival Administration under the Council of Ministers of Georgia, where he worked on improving administrative documentation in state institutions and implementing automated records management methods.

In 1989, he entered the private sector, becoming a co-founder and vice-president of the economic association "Consortium Kartli." In 1991, he founded the "Tbilisi Educational University of Applied Ecology."

From the 2000s onwards, Nodar Mindiashvili engaged in active entrepreneurial activities within the biotechnology and agricultural sectors:

•  2006: Founded "Minodariy" a company producing food flavorings.

•  2009: Founded "Larky" LLC, a manufacturer of base substances.

•  2010: Founded "Korony" LLC, a manufacturer of food additives.

•  2014: Founded the "Research Center for Biorational Technologies" (a non-commercial legal entity) and the "Sanatury" LLC laboratory. •  2018: Became a founder of the non-commercial organization "Georgian Good Agricultural Practice" (GEORGIANGAP).

He has been active in television since 2018. He is the creator and host of the program "Good Agricultural Practice" on the "Saperavi TV" channel.

Nodar Mindiashvili is the author of numerous scientific papers, articles, and four monographs. He holds various copyrights, know-how, and patents for inventions ranging from health-promoting devices and veterinary preparations to biostimulants and eco-friendly products:

•  Human Medicine: "VitalRay Matrix" health-promoting device (2000); "Endocyte" immunomodulator; and "New Skin" antiseptic spray (2013).

•  Livestock and Poultry Farming: Device for increasing animal productivity (2002); "Dasi" immunomodulator and growth-stimulating feed additive (2007); "Dasi" injectable solution (2013). Feed additives: "Oligophos" (2008), "Unudas" (2011), "Superantitox" (2012), "Apidas" (for beekeeping, 2013), and "Rumiphos" (2013).

•  Crop production and agroecology: Reptile repellent "Biological Stopper" ("Mongoose", 2007); fertilizer-biostimulant "Stimufung" ("Bioactive", 2010); plant protection adjuvants "Deu" and "Andrias" (2017); pesticide sticker/adherent "Power" (2017); plant immunity-stimulating preparation "C" (2017); preparations for enhancing fruit properties "Coloring" (2018) and "Energy" (2018); root formation stimulators "Bio" (2018) and "Root" (2019).
